Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. Aero India is India's premier aerospace and defence exhibition
where global aero vendors and the Indian Air Force (IAF) thrill the spectators with back-to-back aerobatic flying displays.
Ans: Aero India 2025 will be held from 10th to 14th February 2025 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru,
Karnataka, India. The first three days are dedicated to business visitors, while the last two days are open to the
general public.
Ans: The first Aero India show was held at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru, in 1996,
organized by the Defence Exhibition Organisation, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
Ans: Yelahanka Air Force Station is about 25 kilometers from Bangaluru city,
towards Kempegowda International Airport. The journey from Kempegowda International Airport
to Yelahanka Air Force Station by road takes approximately 40-45 minutes. It is recommended
to use a taxi service or public transportation due to limited and distant parking options.
Shuttle buses are available between parking areas and the exhibition gate.
Indian Exhibitors: Can be done while registering using online mode.
SBI payment Gateway and Razorpay payment gateway is available for Indian Exhibitors.
Foreign Exhibitors: Can be done while registering using online mode. SBI International
payment Gateway, Razorpay payment gateway and payment through SWIFT is available for Foreign Exhibitors.

The exhibition is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with air shows held twice daily—once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Bring a hat/cap and sunscreen, as the event is outdoors.
Plan to arrive early.
Parking is available, but it can take up to 1.5 hours to find a spot. Taking a cab or public transport
is recommended. Shuttle buses will take you from parking areas to the event gates.

Ans: Manthan, as the name suggests, will be a platform for dynamic brainstorming sessions centered on the defence ecosystem.
This flagship innovation event is inaugurated by the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri. It is set to take place at the Air Force Auditorium in
Yelahanka/Aero India venue. The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies, host a talk show, facilitate
an investors’ meet, and unveil new initiatives, along with highlighting successful projects within the iDEX ecosystem.
Ans: The iDEX Pavilion during Aero India is a dedicated exhibition space at Aero India which showcases India's
aerospace and defence capabilities, and cutting-edge technologies developed by the iDEX winners. The pavilion highlights
innovations in aviation technology, defence systems, and indigenous manufacturing efforts, promoting collaboration and
investment in the defence sector. It is also a
platform for networking among industry professionals, government officials, and international participants.
Ans: Defence startups associated with iDEX can express their interest at startup-ai2019@gov.in
for participation in
iDEX Pavilion. Non-iDEX winners, on the other hand, should contact the Partner Incubators (PIs) associated with iDEX to
submit their proposals. Startups recommended
by these partner incubators will have the opportunity to participate and showcase their cutting-edge innovations.
Ans: The India Pavilion at Aero India showcases the country’s advancements in aerospace and defence,
emphasizing initiatives like "Make in India." It features innovative technologies, interactive displays,
and participation from both established companies and startups. The pavilion serves as a hub
for networking, fostering collaborations, and promoting India’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing,
while also highlighting opportunities for investment and international partnerships in the sector.
Additionally, around 20 marquee iDEX winners with their products are likely to be showcased in the India Pavilion.
Ans: It is not possible to reserve Space. Space booking is done through online mode
only. The space once released by one exhibitor will become available for online booking.
Ans: Space charges are given in detail in Terms and Conditions which can be

Ans: MSME booking space 12 sqm will be given a 50% discount at time of making final
payment. MSME booking >12Sqm is not eligible for any discount. MSME is to submit proof of
MSME to avail the discount which will be given post verification of documents (documents
i.e Udhyam Registration No(UAM)).
Note:- Foreign exhibitors are not eligible for MSME discount.
Ans: No, conversion of space is not allowed. However if you want to book space in another hall
or change space type then you have to first release the space that you have reserved then book
the available space. However, there is no guarantee that you will be able to get a confirmed booking.
Ans: Space are to be booked online and the fastest fingers would book space first. You may wait for other
halls to be opened or provisional space to be released.
Ans: There has been an overwhelming response for space booking through the online portal which has led to
many of our esteemed exhibitors not getting the required space of their size and location. Provision for extra hangers to
accommodate requirements is being explored and will be communicated shortly.
Ans: Information regarding Halls opening will be available 48 hours prior
to opening on Aero India website. Please login regularly on the Aero India website for updates.
Ans: Extension for payment is provided if there are any technical problems and requests along with
payment proof is to be sent to DEO email ceo.defex-mod@gov.in .
Ans: If you have already made the payment on/before due date and it is not confirmed then forward the proof of
payment to DEO/DPIT. The Space will be kept provisionally booked till confirmation of payment is received.
Ans: Yes, you can join as a Co-Exhibitor using assistance from the main exhibitor who has booked the Space. He will have to add you as a Co-Exhibitor
and pay the registration fees of Rs 40,000 separately.
Ans: Yes, multiple foreign representatives can be registered under a single stall as co-exhibitors although the main exhibitor has to add each representative as Co-Exhibitor
and needs to pay registration fees separately.
Ans: Exhibitors who have booked raw space will have to get their interior designed by Official Fabricator or by any Contractor registered for the event. The details of Official fabricator once
nominated will be available on Aero India website and Exhibitor Manual.
Ans: Each Exhibitor will receive two Inaugural Event invites and 01 Dinner Invite. The number of invites will be increased
on Pro-rata basis for multiples of 50Sqm. Additionally, for space booked by Agencies on behalf of multiple exhibitors co-located
in a Pavilion, each Indirect/Co-exhibitors will receive 01 Inaugural and 01 Dinner invite on Complimentary basis.
Ans: Shell-space will include three sides partition, fascia name, floor covering, six lights, one 5/15 AMP socket,
one trash bin, table with three chairs and carpeting.
Ans: Business/general visitor ticket can be bought from the website. Presently tickets are not available on website and
are likely to available from 01 Jan 2025 on Aero India website.
Ans: The ADVA pass allows access to only Aero Display Visual Area while General visitor pass provides access to the
exhibition area and the Air Display Visual Area.
Ans: Business visitor passes are for business days (10-12 February 2025) at INR 5000 for Indian nationals and USD 150 for Foreign nationals and general passes are for Public Days
(13 & 14 February 2025) at INR 2500 for Indian nationals and for USD 50 for Foreign nationals.
